Algebra: Today the students worked on their final review for chapter 5. The chapter 5 test is tomorrow!!! I am reposting the "needed" skills for the test tomorrow...please make sure that your child has mastered these 8 skills!

Pre-Algebra: Today the students completed a worksheet on lesson 10.5: Surface Area of Rectangular Prisms. Also, we started our "fact building" today. Every day 3-5 students will be working on the computer on their math facts. This will take place during independent work time. I will be measuring growth throughout this endeavour.

AT Algebra: Today the class had two options. The first option was to work on the 7.3 worksheet. The second option was an extension activity where the students learned how to solve systems of equations with three variables. Several students chose this option! I am proud of their hard work on this skill that is considered an "Algebra 2" concept!!

Happy December (and snow)!

I cannot believe it is already December! This school year is flying by! Today in Algebra we worked on a worksheet related to 5.5, which is the same lesson that we have been working on for the past few days. In AT Algebra we worked on a 7.2 worksheet, which is the same lesson that we learned yesterday. In PreAlgebra, we learned lesson 10.3, Area of Parellelograms and Trapezoids.
